Selective Tree Removal
We specialize in controlled directional felling, a technique that allows us to safely drop trees exactly where they need to go from the ground. While this method requires adequate clearance, it is an efficient way to clear multiple small to mid-size trees in a single area. We also offer selective tree removal for properties where only specific, problematic trees need to be addressed. Stumps can be chemically treated with an herbicide to prevent regrowth for a small extra cost.
🌲 Tree Removal Guide
We specialize in above-ground removal of small to mid-size trees. Here is exactly what we handle:
Small Trees: Under 30 feet tall, less than 6 inches in diameter
Mid-Size Trees: Between 30 and 50 feet tall, less than 12 inches in diameter.
⚠️ Condition & Type Checklist
We remove trees matching any combination of these factors:
Hazardous: Leaning, unstable, storm-damaged, hung-up, or threatening property or structures.
Damaged: Split, broken, or ruined by recent storms.
Problematic: Skinny, weak, overcrowded, or invasive/undesirable species (e.g. Bradford Pear, Sweetgum).
Landscaping: Ornamental trees ready for replacement.
Tree Trimming and Clean-up
Processing of fallen or felled trees including limb and branch removal, trunk sectioning (bucking), and organized sorting of debris piles by material and size, leaving your property clean and accessible. Blow or rake any remaining small debris into natural areas.
Storm Clean-up
Removal of fallen limbs, partially uprooted trees, hung up small trees, hanging branches, and storm-damaged debris from yards, fences, sheds, driveways, and other accessible areas. Services focus on safe, controlled clean-up and hazard reduction to help restore property access and reduce the risk of additional damage following severe weather events.
Debris clean-up and on-site stacking are included in the service price for Tree Trimming and Storm Clean-up. Haul-away services are not included; however, for added value and cost savings, debris can be neatly cut, bundled, and placed curbside for municipal yard waste collection where permitted. Optional selective haul away for disposal can be added on for an additional cost and is currently subcontracted out.
Firewood Cutting & Stacking
Keep your wood! Logs from removed or fallen trees can be cut and split into manageable firewood pieces, then neatly stacked on-site for convenient drying and future use.
Brush and Tree Disposal (subcontracted out)
Removal of all brush, logs and debris from the property, clean up the work zone and haul-away.
Stump Grinding (referral)
Remove the entire root ball or cut the stump below grade and cover back up with dirt or grind the stump below grade.

Terms and Conditions of Service
Project Completion & Delays:
Select Tree Removal LLC shall make reasonable efforts to adhere to scheduled service dates; however, the company shall not be held liable for damages, liquidated or otherwise, resulting from delays caused by inclement weather, equipment failure, or any other events beyond its reasonable control.
Permits, Approvals and Property Authorization:
The customer is responsible for obtaining and verifying any required permits, HOA approvals, neighbor permissions, utility clearances, or other authorizations necessary for the requested work prior to the start of services. Select Tree Removal LLC assumes that the customer is the legal property owner or has proper authorization to request the work being performed. The company is not responsible for delays, fines, damages, or legal issues resulting from missing permits, property disputes, boundary disputes, easements, protected trees, or restrictions imposed by local governments, HOAs, or utility providers.
Subsurface Utilities and Underground Property:
Select Tree Removal LLC assumes no liability for damage to underground assets, including but not limited to irrigation systems, drain lines, invisible fences, or utility cables. It is the sole responsibility of the Authorizing Party to provide accurate, physical mapping of all such systems prior to the commencement of work; in the absence of such documentation, the Customer waives all claims for subsurface damages.
Hardscape Integrity (Driveways & Sidewalks):
While Select Tree Removal LLC employs protective measures, the Customer acknowledges that heavy equipment may be required for certain operations. Select Tree Removal LLC is not responsible for the repair of driveways, sidewalks, or other hardscapes that crack, settle, or sustain damage due to the weight or transit of machinery or from the act of tree felling.
Turf and Lawn Disturbance:
Tree removal services inherently involve site disturbance. Select Tree Removal LLC disclaims all responsibility for lawn or turf restoration, including compaction or rutting, unless specific remediation services are expressly outlined and priced within the written estimate or quote.
Collateral Vegetation & Landscape:
Select Tree Removal LLC shall not be held liable for incidental damage to surrounding flora not specified for removal. The Authorizing Party grants Select Tree Removal LLC the discretionary authority to prune any plants or shrubs incidentally damaged during operations to maintain plant health, at no additional cost to the Customer, in lieu of replacement or repair.
Authorization for Work Performed:
By authorizing service, the Customer affirms they possess the legal authority to order the work performed. Should any tree be misidentified regarding ownership, the Customer assumes full liability and agrees to reimburse Select Tree Removal LLC for all resulting damages, attorney fees, and associated costs. The Authorizing Party acknowledges that the work site constitutes a hazardous zone and agrees to maintain a safe distance from all felling operations. The Authorizing Party assumes full responsibility for ensuring that family members, guests, invitees, pets, and livestock remain strictly outside the designated work area until Select Tree Removal LLC declares the site safe for reentry.
Work Limitations
Select Tree Removal LLC will not accept any job that cannot be done safely from the ground or requires sectional dismantling from the top down.
Select Tree Removal LLC reserves the right to refuse any job for any or no reason.
